Migrating from CQG -> Rithmic, anything to consider?

Let me simplify it. CQG and TOS provide free mobile app so that let me monitor and close (if necessary) my open/pending positions while Rithmic doesn't. I don't want/need to know other excuses. Period.

Migrating from CQG -> Rithmic, anything to consider?

Just confirmed by my broker AMP. They don't have any mobile app (free or non-free) to connect Rithmic. Unbelievable.......... o_O Canceled my migration plan.

Migrating from CQG -> Rithmic, anything to consider?

Thank you always for details Matt. By the way, is there any free iPhone app to connect Rithmic account? (such as CQG M). I cannot find any in Rithmic's website. All I need is just monitoring and closing my open positions using the mobile app.

Migrating from CQG -> Rithmic, anything to consider?

I am currently using MotiveWave with CQG feed (through AMP Futures). I trade /ES only. I also use Journalytix (a journal software from Jigsaw) and plan to use Bookmap. I know Rithmic is supported by all my softwares and broker mentioned above. Is there anything I need to consider before I make...

How much more difficult is trading today versus 100 years ago?

Must be still not easy cause they didn't have personal computers and TA knowledge (bty, Japanese candle stick is more than 100 years old). Seeing the following comment from Mark Twain (died in 1910), I believe trading wasn't still easy 100 years ago. "October. This is one of the peculiarly...

Anyone tried Boris Schlossberg & Kathy Lien services?

So my conclusion is: She's a legit FX expert -> therefore she knows trading/making consistent profit is difficult -> therefore she decided to sell signal/education services to innocent retailers instead of trading herself. o_O

Anyone tried Boris Schlossberg & Kathy Lien services?

Boris Schlossberg and Kathy Lien are both well known FX experts who often can be seen in CNBC or CME commentaries. They sell signal and education services to retail traders. Anyone tried their services? My question always narrows down to "why they do this if they are so successful traders?"...

A message to some day traders.

Yes, trading is absolute waste of time and money to 99% of people and it's also bad to our health. Giving up is sometimes wise choice. However, as a hobby, it's better than Casino I think......

    AMP Futures Reviews and Suggestions

For /ES, AMP charges me $2.05 per contract (Exchange $1.18, NFA $0.02 Clearing $0.5, CQG TRF $0.1, Commission $0.25) while TDA would charge me $3.45 (Exchange $1.18, NFA $0.02, Commission $2.25). For round-trip trade, it's $4.1 vs. $6.9. That means total /ES trading cost of TDA is 68% more...
