    ES Journal - 2012

Kind of liking this action here; long from 1405.

Short from 1402, from earlier. Market will rollover, just don't know when

    PCLN straddle

Vol is real cheap here. I probably wouldn't sell premium now, as vol may tick up from here next week. On the other hand, you said that you are buying a straddle, so I guess you want to be long vol.

    PCLN straddle

    I was just thinking conceptually.

    PCLN straddle

I see a max payout of $3 at expiry, given a $2 debit.

    treasure TLT

I would wait until next week to initiate a bearish TLT play, might get better prices. But, I am inclined to take the downside. No real edge on vol though.

    ES Journal - 2012

It already made a definitive move last Friday. This week should be pretty quiet.

    PCLN straddle

Wouldn't have worked either. UL down about 100 points so far. Oh well.

    ES Journal - 2012

Thanks. Out at 1397 and 1397.50, just a quick few ticks. We may drift a little lower still though.

    adjusting option position

What type of positions? Once you don't like the trade anymore, or your thesis has gone bust, get out of the position entirely. Don't worry about adjustments.

    PCLN straddle

I'd be inclined to go wider and further out.

    ES Journal - 2012

Quick short from 1401, just for a few points, not picking a top. Appears to be resistance at 1402.75-1403.25, which was rejected earlier.

    ES Journal - 2012

Got too aggressive, was targeting a quick test of the 1370 level. Should've known it would churn and burn. Standing on the sidelines until the Fed. But if I had to guess I'd say we go down after the announcement.

    ES Journal - 2012

Short 1375.50, got to stick to my guns

    ES Journal - 2012

Yeah, I don't think they're going to do much in the way of additional easing right now(i.e. QE3), other than extending the low rate pledge. I am long ZB straddles going into this week as a play on rising vol due to Fed, ECB, jobs number. A slight loser so far.
