So it's no longer the "stimulous bill", now it's the "bank bailout"? I guess those signs they bought for the highways should be changed to say "bank bailout". What a bunch of sickos we have running things in this country. It's a travesty.

The constitution? LOL. They're about to mandate health insurance, I.e. Force you to associate with partied that don't want to. The constitution is dead to them. And to the guy who said switch to FX, that is not exempted as far sa I've heard.

IBM is traded on DOZENS of global exchanges. If it's not a US exchange and the country isn't on board you can trade US issuers without the tax. All liquidity will find these venues. Bank on it.

That article said mutuals are exempted. Except guess what? They're not, because the MARKET is going to be pricing this crap in, as in volatility, illiquidity, and capital flight. Get out the popcorn. These idiots just don't know how to stop pissing down their own legs.

Where is the Republican party? WTF are they? They should be jumping up and down on every freaking radio and television program out there. Michael Steel is a spineless snail. Useless, almost all of them. The reaction to this is a joke. Maybe they know something we don't, like the fix is in and...

Divergence between energy stocks & oil/nat gas...

Ever consider that energy companies have hedge books that lock in prices? Some manage these books better than others, whom end up selling for less than future spot prices. Unless you do the due diligence on each of these stocks, there's no conclusion to be drawn against the future of the...

The Apocalyptic Depression of the 21st century

Become a primary currency or any official currency? No, it won't likely. But it is on the path to becoming a massive insurance policy against a dwindling dollar. That is simply undeniable.

The Apocalyptic Depression of the 21st century

Gold has value and is fungeable in any modern economy, or any backwards economy for that matter. It is a store of money to a future point in time. Whether that value is greater or lesser is not guaranteed. But you can trade USD for gold, and then trade gold for AUD or EUD when/if USD becomes...

    Where's deflation ? The Fed's double standard

What? People have been avoiding buying houses lately at least in part because they don't want to jump on sinking ships. I'm speaking of those with credit or assets to devote to a property. A car costing $1k less yoy is not an example of spiraling deflation.

    Where's deflation ? The Fed's double standard

Why is nobody acknowledging that CPI is no longer calculated the same way as it was prior to Clinton? Well that is not the same as the calculation that the Fed uses for PCE Core inflation, but it used to be. http://www.shadowstats.com/

    Where's deflation ? The Fed's double standard

Right on. And also worth pointing out that deflation is usually in tandem with increased currency value, which can hurt an export driven economy, which the U.S. is obviously not. Just sayin'.

    Interest rate exotic options

IGMarkets owns Nadex and offers similar products. Frankly their spreads seem worse. Just curious what you think of the pricing on Nadex? I'm skeptical that you can get a fair pricing on exotics without going through a PB and doing volume.
