Kamdoo, I've read a number of your posts and it looks like you know what you're doing for someone that's going to be a fresh grad. If I were you I'd take the FA job at MS and learn to trade on the side. An FA position at MS will look more favorable on your resume and will help you open up...

I've had no problems with Genesis either. Except for two occasions in last 2 1/2 months where charts were stuck/didnt update, Laser platform has been solid.

you dont need to trade 50 tickets to make what they require. but it seems they require that minimum # of tickets so they're guaranteed to make certain amount from your trading commissions. it's not the greatest deal, but it's not bad either considering you won't be required to put in any money...

okay, fwiw... the crude oil futures finished at $50.25/bbl today. spitzer should be all over GS by now. unless of course, he too had some oil stocks he wanted to cash out of. :p maybe i'm jumping the gun, but I say we see $40 before $105.

I'd have to agree w/ Anseld. If the job offer is from a prop firm vs. from an investment bank or one of top tier trading firms, then working as an engineer would be a wiser/safer choice. One can always go into trading whereas if you're going to be an engineer, it's best to start right after...
