I would like to use Visual Studio 2005 but Realtick and Oanda aren't there yet and can't give me a time when they will be. Oanda suggested I buy Visual Studio 2003 which I did but it won't install. I 've been told that it's not compatible with XP service pack 2. Can anyone veryify this. Thanks

IB and Oanda both have API's for program trading but their maximum margin is 50:1

My Rewritable CD was overwritten with a couple of files I think because of a Virus on my computer. It says there are only 3 files on the CD but that there is no more room. Does anyone know how to find the files that were there before. I believe they are still there but I can't see them. Thanks.

If I 'm testing against closing historical prices do I have to mulitply all my trades by 3 pips and subtract that from my profit ?

Which is better and newer ? The Intel Pentium 4 640 or the Pentium D 840 ? They are both 3.20 Gig in speed. And also even though the Pentium D 830 is slower than the Pentium 4 640 is the 830 a better chip. I'm trying to decide which computer to buy . Thanks
