sorry Robert - I reworded my post so deleted this one. I have been wanting to find this out for a while: I originally got livevolx and was using the excel plug in and making use of the thourough quote history... that went away after. always wondered why?

anyone know of software that is like what Livevolx used to be before it changed hands?

ironically, most seem to not be able to I've seen plenty do it more quickly...and few who try longer.

IDK-this sounds like the road to learning how to trade to me. (As long as you're not blowing up) look at your stats and see where you're making money and where you're not - cut out the bad and focus on your performance on the good. The stuff you're going through now will keep on happening in...

I worked at what was called a "prop shop" - it was a partnership and I recieved a K-1 and was self-employed trader. Some firms such as this allow trading as an entity, some don't. Side accounts were allowed, but required reporting.

i put this in the "trading" forum because imo, bad prices affects trading. I didn't assume it was an IB issue - just happens to be the plaztform I'm using. i'm all set - but ya - I'm looking at TWS and the api...just didn't post fri closes
