Working 2 identical orders in SPX and SPXPM. Sell iron jan 925/950/1400/1425 iron condor @ 3.80. Interesting to see which, if any, get filled. I trade w/tos. Edit: SPXPM marking 3.45 SPX marking 4.05 (which means every little)

I agree. SPX is more liquid at the strikes I trade. My index option commissions are also quite a bit lower that my futures option commissions @ TOS.

What is your profit target?

I don't trade IC's but put protected strangles. I prefer to put them on as a package. I manage risk when position delta exceeds predetermined levels. I'll use a risk reversal on the upside, covering my short call and selling long put. I buy strangles back on the downside.

I felt the same way about ThinkorSwim in 2006.

I think that if you go the future route that you will have to mark to market for tax purposes at year end. With spy, you could manage your tax liability better.
