Don't try and enter at logical entry points with resting stop B/S. You will get picked off every time. HTH

Setharb, thanks for suggestions It's the US reset that also applies to Asian server that causes the problem - so no gain from switching to US server . Spot FX usually starts quoting at 6.30am my time, but for some reason did not come online until much later today.

In addition to FX reset for value date with IB there is a big gap in the middle of the Asian trading day called IB resest during which the whole world of Forex can deal and you can't. Right now it is 9.22 in Tokyo and there are NO IDEALPRO quotes from IB and have not been all morning. It is...

YES and I'm on the Asian server so you are telling me that the IDEALPRO FX prices go offline with US hours on the ASIAN server?

Anybody have a problem with IB IDEALPRO quotes stopping at around 00.10 to 00.15? A good spread isn't much use if the quotes don't move with the market. HotspotFX quotes moved as did commingled chart feed but IB's quotes all stayed there with USD/JPY not moving from 74-76 when the market saw 80...

Have you looked at S&P Comstock? Institutional pricing but may have the capabilities as they supply data for linking in to in house systems. One caveat, eSignal uses their data and some of it is problematic - S&P itself rather than eSiganal further processing/servers may be the source of the errors.

If using Sierra set the volume tick chart to 50 and you will have a much clearer view of what is going on. Alternatively just a tick chart. Time based charts leave you flying blind during these moves.
