    Anyone daytrade the large S&P?

Wherever you trade, bid/ask is not statistical data, it's simple execution. If you can see 990 offered in the ES you know you can take it for whatever size you can see. In the pit, last trade might be 989.60 but you can never know what price the chump will shout offered when your order comes in...

    Anyone daytrade the large S&P?

you'll never know where the bid or ask is in the pit. can you trade without that kind of information? it practically guarantee's slippage - most of the floor guys just make a market that they can offset on the screen, so the worst price they can give you, they will. why pay a floor trader to...

The Holy Grail of the Emini Futures

What do you mean "volume is low"? The stoxx often does 70% of ES volume and 8x YM, and it's not confined to a "pit hours" session as there is no pit

Using £9,000 to make £89,000 profit in 2009-

Spanish, why don't you check out futuresbetting? They do direct market access spreadbetting, so it's tax free and has the same spread as the underlying. Sounds like you have enough money to open an account there now.

    Time to short Oil

amazing trade & call. At the time you posted your first call, it seemed like you were choosing to stand in front of a freight train. Though I suspect there was a bit more to your call than some of the other "oil will never trade above $[insert various prices here] ever again" threads

    ES large contract fills

if you use the DOM you'll be able to answer your own question about available depth. ES often has 500-1000+ contracts up on the bid or offer. If you pick your moment to place your trade, you wont get any slippage.

    5% - 10% profit per day trading

This is why spreadbetting is rarely cheaper than trading "properly" with a direct access broker. you're paying your bookie far more of your profits than you would pay to the government if you had to pay tax.
