10:1 could be the new leverage rule

Just saw this article on another forum, it seems house lawmakers are very upset about the actual leverage rule in forex and they actually get what will happen if passed and seemed to grill CFTC'S GENSLER. They also stated they made cftc in charge of forex but not to kill it. So this is a piece...

Seems Brown is trying to take credit for an idea which has already been floated by other countries such as the US and Sweden for the bank levy, not the tobin tax. But of course Brown wants credit to save his political career. This guy an ass!

10:1 could be the new leverage rule

Finds this artcile laughable on the timing. It came out today saying NY Forex volume growth is starting to outpace London. Now the US is going to lose all that with this new rule! We can use that as a point to fight with. http://online.wsj.com/article/BT-CO-20100125-713722.html

Tommorrow could be a day where things heat up or cool on the debate about ftt. The g7 meeting tomorrow where supposedly the tax will be discussed by the UK and the US wants to discuss our own bank levy that Obama introduced last week. This could be a time where Obama can put this talk to bed by...

The UK will also lower their leverage

The deleveraging they talk about is a different thing then what we have at forex. The big banks dont use this kind of leverage in fx anyways if you talk to some institutions, they really do not use leverage for fx. Its for us smaller traders.

I was simply asking you a question, I read it and its not as bad as your little GAME OVER doom and gloom comment. Traders adapt to what they are given, well if you cannot understand that, then I mean good traders adapt. So with all your negative comments on here over the past how everyone is...

I have read a few of the comments on the IMF comment page in opposition to the tax. In my opinion I think anyone who comments shouldnt focus on the trading aspect and how it will ruin trading. I think the IMF doesnt care how it affects trading or doesnt care that it increases the cost of an sp...
