1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

It looks like zdreg is right on this one, the article says .125 percent is the india tax, which is .00125* 100k in trading value which would mean 125 bucks tax per every 100k traded, so it would be a 250 tax round turn which would kill any and all day trading. I guess the news articles sometimes...

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

If its .0017% then its .0017 * .01 =.000017 So that is only 1.70 per every 100k traded so thats why they ( India) can day trade. But once they get the foot in the door with any amount of a tax, they will turn the key and make it rise. So we do not want an acceptable level of an FTT, we want...

    IncreaseNow's "Sell/Short" Futures Journal

I agree with gold being a fine choice. Start with the mini, 1 contract. Then after a month of profitable trading you can earn your right to move up to 2 lots. But this should be all specified in a trading plan, you do have a trading plan right? If not stop trading take a week and make one.

    IncreaseNow's "Sell/Short" Futures Journal

You need to give it longer then a week . I would say give it till this date next month. A week is nothing, its like a first date, if you want to make money in the long term you got to take time and to get to know her!

Look at the picture below it was taken off the comments from the forex leverage proposal. It is a comment from Senator Orin Hatch from Utah. Interesting that a senator gets in the mix, but for some reason I cannot see what the comment was, has anyone had better luck seeing the comment and what...
