I think they are preparing to price a secondary. I remember a similar situation about six months ago where a thin small cap priced a secondary at a 50% discount to the market. If anyone remembers the stock I'd love to know.

Not being able to short IPO's for 30 days is a myth. While the underwriters can not lend stock for 30 days, institutions not involved with the IPO can lend the stock immediately, provided they have inventory. It normally takes a few days for this inventory to become available.

Not every stock that moves down is a result of naked shorting. I would assume BIDU is dropping because almost every mom & pop investor that has purchased this stock is looking at loss that is growing larger and larger every day.

I'm not sure, from looking at some of the other threads it appears no one could trade it through IB for at least the first hour. When I tried to enter a trade I recieved a message that only closing trades were allowed on this product.

Was anybody able to buy this through IB? I flipped a little in an Ameritrade account, but IB would not let me open a position.

Got a little TMO off short above 30, I've been trading his picks long and short since the show began and normally when he recommends a basket they have a hard time holding the gains the next day.
