Sometimes these stocks run up just prior to a big FDA meeting in anticipation of good news. Probably good to get out prior to the halt if you know about it.

If you're holding stocks overnight, make sure you keep track of the news on your stock. They've had an FDA meeting scheduled today for quite a while. It looks like the news might not be that good.

I believe you have to have an account with a broker that has a trading link to them. As far as I know, the only one is Track Data/Mytrack. There probably are others; I'm not sure.

I didn't much care for Three's Company, but I don't think too many actors could do the physical comedy he did on that show. If you happen to catch it on Nick at Nite sometime, look how well choreographed his "clumsy" scenes are.

If you have a Series 7 and trade with a pro firm (eg Echotrade), are you considered a member of an exchange? Or is the firm a member, and you're something else?

I don't think it has backtesting. They have a 30-day trial; it's fully functional if you want to see how it works. I don't really use all the stuff you asked about, so I'm not sure.

I guess it depends on what you look for in a chart. I don't really use indicators; I just kind of eyeball charts to see what's going on. I find them hard to read at times. Maybe I'm just not used to them yet, but I liked Tradestation charts a lot better.

I hate to give a negative review after only a couple days, but so far their software is a joke. The charts are pretty weak, but the big problem I'm having is half the time I can't even change the symbol for a chart, level 2, etc. I'll type in a symbol repeatedly. Eventually it will show up as...

The Equities Basic platform has what they call 'standard charting' which is very limited. The Equities platform (which I think is about $40/mo more) has advanced charting, which is much more customizable. I'm pretty sure that if you went with the Basic platform, you'd be taking a step backward...
