    Oklahoma, I love this State.

All you technically need to meet the requirements of a democracy is a system of government where the people have the power to govern themselves either directly or indirectly through elected official. You can still meet these requirements in a country where the government controls the media and...

    Oklahoma, I love this State.

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying. I know that the entire bill of rights could be removed from the constitution through a constitutional convention. But it's my opinion that the bill of rights is made up of immutable rights, and we shouldn't accept their removal even if the majority of the...

    Oklahoma, I love this State.

I know that the entire bill of rights is made up of amendments, and theoretically it could be completely removed from the constitution. What I'm saying is that we should never accept that. How would you feel if Trump garnered enough support to remove freedom of speech from the constitution so...

    Oklahoma, I love this State.

The constitution is a living & breathing document that can be amended at any time. But IMO, the original bill of rights is untouchable. Things like freedom of speech, freedom of religion, & the right to bear arms are immutable rights that should never be given up even if the majority of our...

    Oklahoma, I love this State.

The definition of the word militia may be debatable, but the founding fathers left no doubt that they intended for individuals to have the right to bear arms. "The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own...

    Oklahoma, I love this State.

The framers of the constitution were quite clear that the word militia meant the whole of the civilian population. I think he was referencing the "well regulated" part of the amendment though. I would encourage you to get a concealed carry licence if you're going to carry. It's a small price to...

    Oklahoma, I love this State.

I'm from Oklahoma, and I'm not a big fan of open carry. I don't mind ranchers doing it out in rural areas, but I don't want someone walking into a store with an AR-15 on their back. This law requires common sense, and unfortunately that's not something everyone possesses.

We’re gonna build a wall And Mexico’s gonna cut through it

The majority of hard drug seizures occur at legal ports of entry because we patrol them the closest. We really have no idea how many drugs flow across the border at easier crossing points. Some places have nothing more than vehicle barriers in place, and it's incredibly easy to cross the border...

We’re gonna build a wall And Mexico’s gonna cut through it

I guess this puts to rest the myth that drug smugglers only use ports of entry to cross the border. This proves that our border needs to be more secure. If the current design doesn't work, it should be changed. I would think that a precast concrete wall with multiple layers of welded rebar &...

"Not One Penny In Middle-Class Tax Increases" - Warren Unveils Plan To Cover $52 Trillion Medicare-F

I'm with you. The U.S. already pays significantly more per capita for healthcare than other developed countries with universal healthcare. We don't need to collect trillions in new taxes. We need to find a way to fix our existing problems.

"Not One Penny In Middle-Class Tax Increases" - Warren Unveils Plan To Cover $52 Trillion Medicare-F

Not to be lost in the announcement today is the fact that she wants to tax unrealized capital gains annually on the wealthy. That could be really significant. With everything she's proposing, it's hard to imagine the stock market not selling off hard if she wins the election.

Pelosi and Dems not informed of al-Baghdadi mission

I can't blame Trump for what he did. I would've done the same thing. Why would you give highly sensitive classified information to a group of people that have proven they can't be trusted not to leak classified information in the past? I wouldn't have had a problem with Obama doing the same...

Al Baghdadi killed by Turkish forces

It's kind of sad when you can trust a foreign entity more than you can trust the other side of the aisle. You can't blame him though after all of the ICE raid leaks. Our political system is broken.

354 to 60 vote against, Trump has meltdown unable to deal with the reality of it.

That's definitely true. Turkey said prior to the removal of U.S. troops that they wouldn't do any of this, and they said yesterday that they would never agree to a ceasefire. So who knows what tomorrow will bring. We'll hope for the best though.

354 to 60 vote against, Trump has meltdown unable to deal with the reality of it.

It sounds like Turkey will get the buffer zone around the border they wanted. That's probably best for both sides.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/09/us/politics/trump-kurds-syria-army.html It looks like Obama started air dropping supplies to the Kurdish forces in 2014, but Trump made the decision to arm them in May of 2017 after he took office. I don't think anyone really wanted to do that because of their...

https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/ypg-pkk-terror-group-supporters-attack-turks-in-germany/1616442 At least 15 people were injured in 17 attacks in Germany since Operation Peace Spring in northern Syria began. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/16/us/politics/factcheck-trump-syria-kurds.html The...

354 to 60 vote against, Trump has meltdown unable to deal with the reality of it.

Trump is right. The Kurdish PKK group has been labeled a terrorist organization by the U.S. for over two decades. The Kurdish YPG group that helped us fight ISIS is actually an offshoot of the PKK. The U.S. initially didn't arm the YPG because of their ties to the PKK, but Trump reversed that...

Joe Biden 'Personally Paid $900,000 By Burisma' According To Ukrainian MP In Bombshell Admission

The story seems pretty misleading. It says the money was sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners. A quick google search shows that this company was co-founded back in 2009 by Hunter Biden and two other individuals. I'm not sure why they would say that $900K was paid to Joe Biden personally.
