    Iterative Refinement

Atari, I THINK this is an example of a flaw in the non-dom (making it the new dom). You can see that Spyder had marked the gaussian annotation so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the flaw. May just be an example of red to red in a lat...

    Iterative Refinement

Atari, as I understand it, a flaw is not a flaw until you have increasing dominant volume to confirm it. In your example, one couldn't have labeled those flaws until there was increasing volume in the dominant direction. If you had increasing red, then those could've possibly been flaws for a...

    Iterative Refinement

Here's a quiz for those interested. When do we have permission to go look at the YM? (Name at least six scenarios. If you get seven you're a champion.) Thanks, Spyder, for all your time and efforts.

Thanks. I don't understand wave theory either. Let's hope not here, not now. Real wars have been fought over a lot less, and trading wars...lolol...let's just say traders enjoy a good fight from time to time.

    GBP/USD trading

Here is the larger time frame chart of the GBPUSD. Best wishes to you. I'm only sharing what I've picked up. I think it's up to all of us to determine for ourselves what's useful and what isn't. Take care.

    GBP/USD trading

On this chart, I note some places where I think there are waves (blue) and we use the high and low of those waves to draw the Fib. You can see the wave drawn in red lines on the chart. It shows the high and low that we used to draw the most recent Fib. That fibonacci is where price bounced...

Jack Hershey – MACD and Stochastics helpers for 123 and FTT's

Hi Jack, thanks for the comments. I've read them over several times. Whenever I have a big post, I just do a "Ctrl A" and "copy" as insurance before trying to send. Of course, you're pretty prolific with your posts on this site, so that can be a lot of insurance (and time), but it may help...

Jack Hershey – MACD and Stochastics helpers for 123 and FTT's

That was some kind of mental exercise! I found myself often falling behind the pace with the log entries, annotations, and hitting the button on some of the trades, but kept pressing forward. I understand it's a learning process and had many mistakes, which included: 1) Somehow omitting a...

By bigger chart I mean the bigger timeframe, the Daily (or weekly) chart. Once you get on the daily chart, try placing your fibonacci drawing tool on the extremes I mentioned and finding the 50% retracement line. I'll answer more for you after US market close and post a chart. Hopefully it...

Jack Hershey – MACD and Stochastics helpers for 123 and FTT's

Lots of good info in your post. No worries about the losses right now. This is a process of doing drills that build upon one another. As you suggested, other tools and more work will help with the problem areas. Nice going. It's getting late here so I'll look closer at your chart tomorrow.

Thanks for pointing out the error on my chart. Have a couple of questions for you in case my chart is off in those places, too.
