OK, I'm bored, what is this thread all about? Pages of cutesy names? As I said on another thread, was hoping a trading forum would have some intelligent conversations to help kill some time during the trading day. Would anyone care to take a minute or so to help me understand?

Why does this say second degree manslaughter? Charge is second degree murder. Something new?

Anyone would make a bet with a 5 point advantage, suckers bet. I'll bet that the race is less than 5% either side. Any takers? Of course not. Makes no sense. A bet is a win or lose. Not sure where you guys are coming from, but everyone knows the race is within a couple of points.

Now, that is something I have never heard before. Might explain a lot. Is there any proof of this polling percentage? Why would democrats respond more than republicans. Republicans seem to be more vocal and willing to share opinions.

Nice speech by Romney to the NRA. He said mostly what they wanted to hear. The crowd didn't seem to react as strongly as one would expect, then I hear that he lost out to his democrat opponent in his gubernatorial race from the NRA's standards on gun control. Odd.

I have to agree about Romney and Newt. I don't particularly like either guy, but at least you know what you get with Newt. Romney seems so much like an artificial intelligence robot, adapting to whatever direction the wind blows. Liberals don't really even seem to care if he actually beats...

I see the little group of posters who love to get onboard with some conservative issue or another, go yippee and then start name calling and all that crap. Maybe 10 people total. A little group of kids rallying behind whatever their leaders tell them. BUT, this case is so beyond the basic right...

Do you guys just believe whatever nonsense is put out there? Does this make any sense. This guy was supposed to be the 'neighborhood watch" guy, he lives there, he knows the addresses, and can easily see from his truck. Want to buy some of the Florida swampland? How stupid.

Never mentioned first degree murder, premeditated or anything like that. Just doing something stupid, and using a gun. If there were 20 kids carrying off stolen items, I doubt he would have confronted them, being scared to death. But one kid walking home, no problem.

I understand your concern. It's deplorable that a few right wing extremists can actually make this kind of thing happen.

You said it IF a big IF. Doesn't even make sense that the kid would just start beating on the guy. Doesn't pass the smell test. Let the case go to court. I have hopes of a decent decision. Just hopes, we'll see.
