Is this a wash sale, yes or no?

A wash sale is meant to point at the ability to claim tax relief on a loss, but if you didn't sell and bought on the same market, essentially averaging your position, I don't think that would qualify as a wash sale. The key here, I think, is that you did not sell before buying again...

    Challenge

I guess that at this point I have to ask you: "What do you mean by risk?" A covered call over an owned stock has a limited risk, well defined by the size of the position on the stock as well as the size of the option contract. The risk is limited by the strike price of the contract.

    Challenge

I only sell calls on the stocks I own, all covered then. I don't do anything naked. When it goes my way I grow my size on the stock with the realized premium. It is a slow and small income generator, so far.

I consider myself a beginner in options trading. I played the markets a bit, with basic strategies, but I can't really tell where my knowledge is at. Would you care to throw some questions at me? As in practical situations that you might find whilst you are trading. A good roast is welcome...

Options Trading Is Rigged Against Average Investors; Payment for order flow allows brokerages and b

You do know where the problem is at. Looking at your replies on the forum, you either are a professional trader or have been around many of them. How many times have you heard people saying: "The market went right against my trade just to hit my stop and then retraced back to continue in the...

Options Trading Is Rigged Against Average Investors; Payment for order flow allows brokerages and b

The more I read about trading options the more I feel like I should shave my head, go to the nearest mountain and start singing to the birds with a cheap ukelele. PFOF is a well known problem for retail trading. That well known that brokers don't give a f*ck and rip everyone apart on a daily...

‘Sam Bankman-Fraud’: Fallen crypto king found guilty on all counts

There was a massive sell-off of his token because it was garbage. It doesn't matter who triggered the issue, it was going to explode anyway because it was a scam. Watch coffezilla videos on him, he was highlighted as a scammer way before anything happened. He was selling unregulated garbage.

The NFT sector will come back

What Johnny wants to say exactly is that when people have lots of money they buy shit around. Shit like NFTs. I agree, bored apes will buy pictures of bored apes. That's a pure projection of their nature.
