I would also like to add that I am new to system trading and have never traded a system live...so any general advice on system construction would also be appreciated..

I would like some advice from any experienced traders out there willing to lend some time...
When considering trading systems for development and backtesting them...what seems to be the better system to trade one that has a greater % of winners or one that has a better win/loss ratio?...It...
I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that may post past data releases and info (ex. payroll, durable goods, CPI, etc.). This would be great for explaining some of the historical price movement in the price data I am viewing.

Hey...I was thinking about testing the Neoticker demo on real-time trading to see if it will hold up to my system. I have tried simulation but would like to try a real time use of the software. Has anyone done this? Can I experiment with the demo in real-time?
hey I recently booted my Neoticker software and recieved a warning from my security system that Neoticker was trying to "listen" for connections for other computers. Has anybody had a similar situation? Is this a security problem with Neoticker?

I think it is unfortunate that neoticker and quantdeveloper seem to be lacking in documentation in clear purpose to collect consulting fees for any programming clarification.
I think it would be nice if either neoticker or quantdeveloper would develop a little bit better documentation for their software. Something like a terminology dictionary, for example: in neoticker a "$" designates the following script as a local variable. Well had you not stumbled across this...
Just wondering if any traders on here have had an opportunity to compare and contrast Neoticker and Quantdeveloper? I am trying to decide how to implement my strategies into an automated system and would love any input from those of you with experience handling these two softwares.
