Any of you guys lost your health coverage?

A couple of months ago we were told that we would be able to keep our policy. Three weeks later we were told we would not. (Seems like nobody really understands Obamacare.) Our replacement policy has less of the coverage that we actually need and more of the coverage for which we have...

Nothing wrong with getting rich trading hard, but will money destroy your mind.

People are not destroyed by money, but rather by their own human failings (arrogance, greed, etc.). As a constant reminder, I keep this Chinese proverb on the wall in my trading office: "Money is round and it rolls -- and it doesn't care who it rolls to."

in over my head & looking for input

Opposites do attract and that can be a good thing. My wife and I are very different in terms of personality and interests. NSA's goal is elimination of individual privacy worldwide

We should NEVER "compromise" our Constitutional rights. That's how a democracy turns into a police state.

NSA's goal is elimination of individual privacy worldwide

The Constitution wasn't written to protect our enemies. It's purpose is to protect US citizens by recognizing our rights. One of those rights is freedom from unreasonable search and seizure. Gathering all communications from American citizens without probable cause and/or a search warrant is...

NSA's goal is elimination of individual privacy worldwide

Where in the Constitution does it give the government the authority to "delve into everyone's thoughts"? And where does it say that we have no rights of privacy?

NSA's goal is elimination of individual privacy worldwide

If I understand you correctly, you're saying there's no such thing as a "reasonable expectation of privacy."

Uruguay becomes first nation to legalize marijuana

Cannabis is pretty tame compared to most drugs and it also has many legitimate medical benefits. The US policy of making cannabis a Schedule 1 controlled substance is ridiculous.
