    Breakdown about to occur

You had it at "Probably a Jackass" for way too long, the rest of us downgraded from there after the last cc. Personally I'm thinking of delisting it and dropping coverage alltogether.

Can anybody explain this to me please

Actually GS was the little ray of sunshine with their earnings expectations and price targets raised for refiners. Rbob is down, market is down, refiners are up, gotta love it. Bernanke should just step aside and let GS give the speeches.:D

Brand New Homes in AZ: Were $215k, Now $137k; Naples, FL - Were $450k, Now $344k

Read an interesting article in the St. Pete Times over the weekend. It was about an outfit called We Buy Ugly Houses (or was it homes?) Anyhow, they do buy beat up properties, but also "nice" properties from owners that are behind in payments, their basic m.o. is to offer those people 50% of...

    Summer Oil Fear strategy

Depends on which way the oil trade goes; if the refineries get back to "normal" operating levels and can go more than 2 weeks without a failure, then rbob should fall a good bit, wti should also decline a little until the oversupply is drawn down. I'll play a refiner as long as the crack...

Here is a very profitable game that Saudi Arabia also can play.

    If you could live anywhere

Nope, Hawaii = $3.47 and Alaska = $3.64 I was surprised too, just saw it on Bloomberg.

    If you could live anywhere

The main drawback to AU for me would be the water hazards such as jellyfish (especially those tiny little bastards) snakes, sharks and crocs. I like getting out on the water, but it sure seems a bit dicey in northern Australia.

    CVX is selling off Why???

I think a better question is; why did the refiners follow the market down? With rbob up and wti crude down the crack spread got wider and the Valero Mckee refinery is down for 2 weeks. The refiners did seem to experience less downside than the drillers and integrateds though (with the exception...

    Valero

Crack spread is being sold ahead of the EIA report tommorow. TSO got the same downgrade.

Any news behind that sudden pop in crude?

Probably has to do with the increased concerns over Nigeria, Chevron anounced they are pulling hundreds of workers out ahead of their Presidential inauguration on May 29th.

IBKR opens @ 50 or so.

Your spelling and use of 'whoof' is quite interesting, maybe coincidental, but definitely interesting.

What is happening with BRLC ?

This is an urban myth of sorts; the only thing that will happen is that analog broadcasts will cease, so those that are using an antenna only to recieve local programming will be affected, and all they have to do is subscribe to their local digital cable company and that same old tv will work...
