Serious: Last year I turned my account from 25k to 150k. Now my account is down to 90k.

It happens. A lot of systems depend on things that are not obvious. multi year cycles, economic underpinnings, volatility, seasonality, etc. If it is not systematized, WOW. So many psychological factors can be at work. Even when you are doing good you can always get blindsided by the bane of all...

    Funny, true

I met this guy that someone had hypnotized to believe that nothing on the internet was real. He REALLY believed it, he was not just being figurative. In an attempt to break his hypnosis I told him I was going to put his name on the internet and he was going to disappear. He looked nervous.

    breaking / reversing hypnosis

I know a guy that became involved with a cult. They ruined his character. He treats his family with contempt. Is paranoid that people are after his money (though a lot of them are). Any time he gets in a good conversation that looks like its going to help him, this switch flips in his mind and...

    Japanese daytrading for foreigners

Sage. Arrogance+ignorance are rampant all over the world. You have one "crime boss" at the top that protects his obedient but incompetent minions and the boss gets too much fun out of taking a dump in the sand box. He doesn't care, its not his sandbox.

    Setting Up Shop in Mexico

If you are going to be rich and live in a third world country you better be ready to kill a few gods and decorate your walkway with the heads of local criminals and corrupt officials. If you are really set on it I might help you out. I'd enjoy the practice.

    Selling ITM options . . .

For those of you who have a lot of options selling experience. If you sell an option that is already ITM, on average how soon does it get exercised? Or does it have more to do with getting close to expiration? Do ITM options ever expire without getting called?

The High-End Knife Maker Crafting One-of-a-Kind Blades

I made a katana once. It was bigger than a real katana but much smaller than one you would buy in a store. A little longer than my forearm. I used a platinum alloy for the core to keep it from breaking. The outside was fully wrapped with steel folded with another alloy I made. It was about 5 mm...

    Executive protection, PIs, Legal, etc.

Anyone have any experiences with executive protection? I tried hiring ex military and police but they either did nothing or tried to contest me (of all things). I even tried a mafia family but I think I picked the wrong family. It seems like anyone with any real security knowledge wants to use...

    The S&P has topped

With Trump in office, and the political tug of war that entails, I suggest keeping your hat on tight and a firm grip on the ropes. We could get big moves either way.
