"MultiCharts for TWS" and "MultiCharts .NET for TWS" are separate products and were optimized for IB. We completely cut out the QuoteManager and all data feeds and vendors besides Interactive Brokers. FreeQuotes that supplies Yahoo and others was also disabled. The data question is...

Well, we just added MultiCharts to the beta TWS, to fill that missing gap. You are able to backtest strategies, although the data doesn't go back too far - that can create a problem.

The fastest way is if one of the supported data feeds started feeding this data, i.e. IQFeed or Interactive Brokers.

we hope both of these concerns will be eliminated. For backfill we are working with IB to solve limitations issues, and for scanning - MultiCharts is able to subscribe and unsubscribe with its new scanner, so you wouldn't need quote boosters.

NoBias, Thanks for the very balanced review, it's very refreshing to see that. Regarding the pacing violation - we are working HARD to reduce that and the effect it has on people. Hopefully, a day soon will come when traders are no longer affected by it, at least in the integrated version.
