Yes, after hours after a fresh reload of TWS (for some odd reason I don't trust it) it acted as you stated. During my trade earlier it did exactly what I said. TWS is buggy. I should not have to pay for that.

Try both platforms in demo mode and then whichever one you are best with...... Commissions are only part of the picture

I understand what you are saying. And what I said is what happened! It's almost like you need to screenshot your entire trading day to be able to get a trade straightened out.

Doesn't matter - Just be careful before you place that order so you don't wind up with the same- check beforehand where that option trades. That's just my advice.

I did contact IB! As stated they will not adjust trade! So be very cautious with penny pricing because it appears that your limit order turns to market if you try penny pricing on the wrong exchange! That was my point & I believe I stated that I had already had discourse with IB. fwiw...

If you have economical living arrangements for the first couple of years then go for it! The potential is extremely attractive. If you have a high rent, bills situation then maybe not. All depends. Good Luck
