I agree - for futures, not stock trading. From your post I gather that you haven't found one or more people to mutually bounce things off of? I haven't yet either, but then again futures traders are kind of 'different'. ;-)

In this particular case, it's probably because the stock is hard to borrow. I could not put it on for that reason, and because the margin requirements would have been enormous.
