I am just off today. The 9:55 call I took as a breakout up. I watched a 1.25 gain turn into a loss. 10:15 was picture perfect. ES hit 1m 200ma support, formed a double bottom with divergence. Looked like mucho overhead resistance though and I therefore stayed out. Darn it !!!!

Once again I will make a statement from Quah's post and good point made. Walt(h)er has implied a 10 minute window before or after the call time. That would equal 20 minutes. In the post that Quah just wrote he shows a quote from Walt(h)er stating 10 to 20 minutes for the play working out. So...

Walt(h)er, I read your post about not revealing your system. Understandable. May I ask though, being that it is time based, could you tell what the variables inside the study consists of ? For example: Pace , Volatility , and Support/Resistance ?

I trade European futures and thought that a few executions were slow. Thought it was my imagination, but now that I read this about Globex, hmmmmmmmmm................

ESTX50 is great. Trades smoothly and super liquid. I use IB and Esignal. ESXT50 is like a slightly hyper NQ. I watch the DAX and CAC40 when trading it, kind of like watching NQ, ES and DOW for relationships. Let me know how it goes.

The prior pace and momentum has halted. How far / long do we correct ? As we all know, nobody knows. However the decline / time of correction will be telling. There will be many different perceptions of this halt / pullback, hence, this is what makes a market, no ?

I use bigcharts for end of day data. Do they have real time/ how is it ? Rough cost for futures data ? Thanks.

opm8, I believe, from what I have seen with Walther's calls, one could trade YM from his calls. His calls are times. If at that time there is a set up that works for YOU in the Dow, the YM could be traded. I will look at this myself as there were also set ups in the NQ at Walther's times on...

Walther, would your method apply to any market just like support and resistence apply to just about any market ?
