If I want to use 5 min data to go back years on YM and ES, what are their symbols on TradeStation if I want to look at the combination of all the different months of contracts?

Call me crazy, I've only used the tape to scalp futures, but all these situations seem like they would be useless to analyze. You'd drive yourself crazy trying to make inferences from those near random situations.

yeah it's garbage. I was just doing it to get help with EL, I figured if someone could code something for me, I could use that for reference. I can't stand not knowing how to use this, and I'm not paying $400 to go to TS class.

TradeStation does that perfectly, you can just ignore the whole strategy part of it. No programming required, just click the mouse to move forward one period.

NEVERMIND Just disregard that post, that setup is so infrequent its not worth doing. And its lack of frequency is not even close to being made up for by its performance.

I just go back a year looking at 2 min data, I'd like to use EasyLanguage but I have absolutely no idea how to program it. I even know a little HTML, but I just can't figure it out.

I couldn't agree more. What's strange is that Vegas makes the claim that when 144 day=169 day=12 day, those are the most profitable and most accurate setups. Too bad when it does happen you're sitting there puking out for a 10 tick loss in every direction over and over on the same day...

why European? I guess you're just saying there's less volatility right?
