    kidnappings of men for ransom in 1st world countries? The only other story I have heard of this happening was Eddie Lampert and they let him walk away. (He went to the police got them arrested and then proceeded to destroy Sears :)) Kidnapping of women on the other hand does not end well.

    the hard part is that they are pointing a gun at you; you have to make the call are they prepared to shoot you. And their decision might change based on your behavior.
