Mick, NFP comes out 1 HOUR PRIOR TO THE MARKET OPEN tomorrow. First, there usually is no BIG moves on the Globex leading up to the NFP. Second, the market direction will be determined AFTER the NFP is released, not BEFORE. (Oh, yeah, I forgot to roll my eyes :rolleyes: :D)

I definitely wouldn't short now. I think we've fallen enough for now...unless we tank below today's low on heavy volume.

ES broke below the recent low as well as below the two trendlines (ironically they both intersected today). As of today, bull market (if that means anything) has been nullified IMO. Downside target: 3800

Back to square one? As expected, we have now reversed all the way back to 21,500 (red line). Feeling hopeful we will reverse here, but we *could* drop down to 20,000. In any case, unless we get a moonshot move, tread carefully.

We know that, statistically, 90% of day traders are struggling and will ultimately fail. We also know 90% of active funds, which mostly use fundamental analysis, vastly underperform S&P 500. So what's the big deal whether one is better than the other? :rolleyes:

Why not head over to YouTube? There are many trading videos involving machine learning. Don't get your hopes up too much though. AI, at the current juncture in time, is really nothing other than training a model on large data sets (although that might change in the future).
