My version made just $40 today The reason: one double whammy ate most of the profits, and I had 3 no trade signals because the previous bar had no direction. Those 3 trading opps probably would have been profitable if I had just gone back to the direction of the trend before it hit...

So far I have been just trading the direction of the bar regardless of the pattern. If the previous bar open=close (as just happened on the 10:25am ES trade), I don't take the trade.

ES 15:47 trade... didn't take it because the previous few bars had no direction... ie open=close. So for the day I have 9 Winners, with commissions that is $40 per winner 4 losers, with commissions that is $70 per loser Winning percentage is 9/13 = 0.69 Plug that into the trading...

The 13:23 ES trade was a winner for me. I have been playing around with http://hquotes.com/tradehard/simulator.html For ES, with the stoploss/target ratio, we need 70% win rate. For NQ we need a 60% win rate for this strategy to be a long term winner.

I had been using the 24,1,24 stochastics on the one minute. I found though that the indicator was "lagging" from my data provider. I switch to just using the direction of the previous one minute bar and my results are now positive.
