Bloomberg: Emerging Markets Gain Record Share of World Equity

why is it the future? These markets depend on the 60 year old markets to buy their products. How long would mexico, china, vietnam, etc. last, if the west got fed up with $2 a day workers and imposed serious tariffs to level the playing field?

this is ruining the credibility of ET

Joe, may I also make these two suggestions: 1) Delete all brokers, books and software on those list with 0 (zero) reviews, that has been there at least 18 months. There are far more brokers/books and software than those, and if no one has commented, it just clutters the categories. 2) Put...

Glut of oil? - LA Times

our cheapest regular was $1.38 But I suspect that OPEC&Friends (Russia, etc.) will cut more times to reduce supply Would they rather sell 18X barrels at $50+ or 21X barrels at $30??

Volume--- how to use it and WHY

+1. If it does not offer outperformance, then it is a boat anchor, not an aid. The little evidence I have seen on volume did not seem encouraging

Quote from Zachpence: I want to get a gig at legit prop or MM firm when I finish college. My degree has absolutely nothing to do with the markets or analytical thinking in general. Before you ask the questions, why would anyone hire your without at least academic qualifications? I saw a...

Are you serious? That alone labels as the whole book as "Trading for Simple People." That idea is almost every trading book since Noah let out all the animals, including two lemmings (male and female)... :D

    Online Tradeing Rooms....

Tommy, you can either or spend thousands until you learn the hard way that most of them don't work, and the ones that "do" work do so via trickery (like posting the maximum profit during a trade, rather than the final result. Or claiming better entries or exits than subscribers get, etc...

    A 70k bet that I can't make a 50% gain in 2009

It would be useful if you had a little more advanced stats. ins, Losses, average% and all of this are relatively worthless. Newer traders focus on them, but experienced traders know they don't really tell you anything about trading. Profit Factor, Sharpe, max drawdown and things like that...

this is ruining the credibility of ET

I have posted that a few times, but silence. It seems like the only ones who say "gee, what do you think about advisory service whatever.com" always seem to have only a few posts. And many times, someone else with a few posts chimes in about the same or related sites... And since the site...

Bloomberg: Emerging Markets Gain Record Share of World Equity

emerging markets tend to careen between high overvalued, crashing or illiquidity. It is not a 16 year old kid, but someone with bipolar disorder.

this is ruining the credibility of ET

there has been something like 20 fake reviews to FXCM in the last couple of weeks. Quite a few from athlonman and Exception and another 1 or 2. If you take the credibility of this site seriously, then I would suggest you rollback all reviews until June 15, 2009, and lock this broker for a...

    McDonalds is hiring.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thailand With a GDP about 3-4% of the USA and 60 million people, I doubt this statement. And they said that the GDP is a little over $8K which also does not support this argument The pay in Bangkok is a lot different than in the provinces/country.

New GM almost ready to roll

Hybrid was only a piece of the total, not the whole thing. Lighter materials, hybrids, low rolling resistance tires, plugins and a bevy of other discoveries and things are available. But the car companies constantly quote cost and competition. Putting the gasoline back to $4.30 alone will...
