From Micros to Millions: 2% per day

Yeah. Big kudos for his transparency. I believe he went from 20K to 100K and back down to 20K. So a good primer on risk management, too. I have no idea either. But I'm sure you'll quickly find some commercial software for free which lets you record your screen while trading. Actually, I just...

From Micros to Millions: 2% per day

I think the skepticism can be summed up in that he's dependent on maintaining a very high win rate to stay profitable. Especially as he compounds and adds contracts. If he's not compounding - he can easily take a few bad days and still be well ahead. That said - it's certainly possible and I...

    NQurious aka Gaslight Capital AKA

I just don't see the need for secrecy or outright lies. Speedo would have done better to ignore those comments then instead of responding with lies to something which wasn't even adressed to him. And I don't see any harm done in registering a new nick if that's what you wanted either, but...

    NQurious aka Gaslight Capital AKA

So, you didn't recognize your own trader friend as Gaslight or he didn't tell you? It was obvious to most others... I'm not going to get entangled in any more drama, but I've received my fair share of accusations from you and snide remarks, so it's a bit interesting anyway. I'll make a...

    NQurious aka Gaslight Capital AKA

Note what? I suspected Mickey's comment towards Q was incorrect as I didn't believe they were the same, but you did say NQ hadn't been around on ET for months and you also explicitly said Gaslight wasn't NQ on an earlier occasion. But from what is said on this post it seems like that is the...

    NQurious aka Gaslight Capital AKA

I'll stay out of the drama, but will say that I didn't have to read many posts to notice the similarity between Gaslight and NQ. Not sure why Speedo (which was boasting to everyone about blocking me by the way) would deny it on multiple occasions, though. Now that I remember - I was also the...

    Advice for finding a developer

I have good experience using Upwork/Guru, but be aware of language barriers and make sure you screen the developer accurately in advance - both on his skills and understanding of the project. I did not use the absolute cheapest programmers except for some trivial stuff.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Make that 46.75 on the stop. Just in case. I suspect that for swing trading - I'd need to use and stick with wider stops. Same with my overnight trade which got stopped out on a low retrace. My hypothesis is that we put in the Week Low yesterday. So that's the 'safe' stop placement. I was...

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Stopped. Didn't get a push below yesterday's LOD after all, but managed to get in long near the LOD anyhow. I'll dedicate this trade to @SammyJ who thinks getting the big picture right is meaningless. LOL. :) I'm locking in some here below 50, but I'm wishful that this can turn into a more...

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Thanks. Funny thing is that I used to be a perma-short when I first started out. I really loved to short. Ideally, a good trader is neutral in terms of direction, but I'll admit to finding it easier to go long these days.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

I'm long again from 33. If stopped, I'm a strong buyer below yesterday's LOD. Off to do something else now. Good luck all! :)

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Not really. It depends on the strategy. As for today - I've said I don't have a strong opinion. This is particularly true for the ETH session where I don't feel I have an edge unless it aligns with what I can see happen in RTH. My predictions are always for the RTH session. But I know there's...

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Moved my stop to 27.50 just in case they're just running some stops below 30. If stopped (likely) and we make a new leg below yesterday's Low - I'll try another long entry. EDIT: And stopped for + 14,50. I saw that 50 was sold in real time, but got greedy and figured it was just a...

From Micros to Millions: 2% per day

Yeah. It's almost surprising that you're making as much money as you do considering your trading style and the commissions on the micros. You actually paid 38.7% of gross profit in fees yesterday. Have you considered just going directly to 1 ES and staying with 1 ES until you're at say 20K...

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Welcome to the club. LOL. I knew a bounce was likely and that I'd probably at least get out breakeven on my entry. At this point - I'm just going to follow the market and see where it takes me. Weakness is often followed by strength and the Week Low is often put in at Mondays. So maybe I can...

Stop @ 28.50. Either we break above this range and trends higher or we don't. Not interested in sitting through a second leg down. :)

From Micros to Millions: 2% per day

Most people by far ain't able to consistently take 1 point per day from the markets. I'd say any trader who's consistently profitable is admirable. While very admirable - my point is that 30 points per day in this high volatility environment isn't outlandish for a skilled trader. I believe the...

From Micros to Millions: 2% per day

The sum total of all the swings last week using a fine filter was 1987,75 points. So, the points definitely are there for grabs. :)

That's quite the red bar on the daily. @Buy1Sell2 's bull flag took a beating today. It's been about a month since we last had a 83 point RTH range. The last time something similar happened we closed higher 67 % of the time the following day. I'm long 3314 with a stop @ 3394 overnight. Small size.
