thanks for your reply. the way i am reading charts is looking at signals after very noticeable trends on the 1m intra day charts (i try for trend at least 10 bars). when you say that traders dont take into account the market context, do you mean even what i described i want to do?

i was thinking about buying deep itm calls with delta close to 1 and buying atm put and selling put credit spread to finance the put. what do you think? i am nervous to do chucks thing without a put.

i actually only trade longer trades for now, although the backtesting i was doing was for day trades. for longer trades i base them on fundamentals. what do you use to compliment the macd on your (non day) trades?

which options do you find the best to buy and sell a couple of minutes later based on macd and rsi? itm atm otm? and how much time to they have, a day week month etc.? thanks (maybe ill send you a commision from all my profits!!!)
