    The $22 billion is not to prop up markets..it's being used to provide some liquidity for banks which have probably taken some hits from the stock market volatility.

    I think it is more to do with the size of the moves that you are looking for. I don't normally daytrade, but last week, i did a lot of intraday trading solely because i expected there would be big moves intraday that could be exploited.

    I don't believe that the retail public have actually entered this market yet, they have been on the sidelines for the last 7 years imo, hence my call for not only the record highs to be broken this year , but 3000 on the sp500 by end of next year.
