Clues of a potential Intraday Rally?

I like watching the OIH and some of the large integrated oil companies like XOM and CVX. These stocks provide money managers with an excellent way of putting money to work given their large-cap index weightings and liquidity. If you don't believe me, simply look at the charts of XOM and...

    Quad 2.4 or Duo 3.0?

I think it's kind of ironic that people get into all of these "latest and greatest" hardware discussions when the FACT of the matter is that 99% of the financial trading platforms that provide quotes and charts are not even designed to take advantage of multi-core processor technology. On...

    Hummm.....

Art Cashin was talking about an Iranian tanker full of crude that is out in the gulf and not able to dock because of the Israeli / Hamas conflict. Also, Gaprom talks with the Ukraine broke down and they will be turning off the NG to the Ukraine come Thursday.

    IB vs TD

I've primarily traded NYSE stocks via Ameritrade and never had an issue. Some partial fills, but nothing on a consistent basis to get annoyed at. Remember, the MAJORITY of exchanges and market makers provide incentives for brokers to route orders to them. ( ie. rebates ).

No inverse of the USO. Simply sell the USO short.

    Dug, Dxo, Uso

The DUG is based on the daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Oil & Gas Index ( twice the inverse ). It is also HEAVILY weighted towards the major integrated oil stocks, such as XOM (10%), CVX (10%), BP (9.5%), Total (7.7%) and COP (6.3%). The USO is based on the SPOT price of WTI...

    Quad 2.4 or Duo 3.0?

And therein lies the rub . . . They have a load balancer on their servers and unfortunately even though my office is relatively close by, they can't direct me exclusively to the servers at their headquarters. Instead, I get routed back to Massachussetts, as well as other places where their...

This idiot has thicker skin than Cramer?

First off, just because he is down 35-40% on the year, doesn't necessarily mean that he is down overall in his 401k. If he has several decades before retirement, and he continues to "dollar cost average" into his 401k ( which might also be "matched" by his employer ) he's probably got a good...

What planet are you on? Please name one significant leader in the DNC that has endorsed her. I dare you. No one in the democratic party is taking Caroline Kennedy seriously. She can't even formulate a single sentence clearly without saying "you know". And with the way in which she has...
