Not at all. I'm just a big believer in Jerry Medved and his Quotetracker trading platform. It has a tremendous amount of value. And that's coming from someone that has subscribed to E-Signal, Realtick, Assent's Hammer/Anvil, CQG, etc. And as I indicated in a previous post, I was not...

I'm sorry, but I must have missed the post in which you said you were a CURRENT TD Ameritrade customer. Thus, your claims have absolutely ZERO relevance whatsoever to current AMTD customers such as myself, and your "cut and paste" article from a telco company ( NOT A TRADER ) that is 5 years...

    Ewj: elliott wave

The market appears to have a small "bid" in it in the last 30 minutes of the session, with the SPX trading back above unchanged. Intra-day low was 896.81 Could we get a reaction to tomorrow's Unemployment number that will force a "re-test" of today' low? Very possible.

As someone that was a former floor trader on the NYBOT, I would say that you are rather naive in claiming that ES and CL futures tax a date-feed more than some equity quotes . . . Thus, the premise that you are using ( Futures vs Equity quotes ) is absurdly naive. Ever watch the SPY's trade...

Leave it to you to post "claims" from 5 and 10 years ago . . . Buzzy, you clearly sound like you have an "axe" to grind.

Active traders with an Ameritrade account use QUOTETRACKER as their trading platform. It has a lot of incredible trading technical tools, charts with every feature imaginable, news, trade scanners, and Level-II. It also happens to be FREE. www.quotetracker.com Interesting to note...

Too many trading threads are being moved to chit chat

Over the last year or so I have noticed that what few TRADERS that were posting in the TRADING FORUM . . . have left. I'm not sure if they have left ET permanently, or are being more selective and merely "lurking" through a few threads, but the writing is certainly on the wall for ET in this...

Obama: $1 trillion deficits 'for years'

The bear market rally is now done - Monday starts another downtrend - see attached

Notice that the two questions above never got answered. I guess no one ever gets stopped out on ET because every trade is a "paper" trade. :D

6 monitors, different video cards, having PROBLEMS!

No, they are not. Nvidia and ATI are competitors! The GeForce 9500 is an Nvidia chipset. The Xenteras uses an ATI chipset. Apples and Oranges. And as Gnome stated in the post above, even using graphics cards from the same manufacturer ( and chipset ) will not always guarantee no conflicts.

Obama: $1 trillion deficits 'for years'

If there is as big of a commitment to Afghanistan as professed by the President elect, ( with Pakistan as the end game ) then there will be indeed a huge "re-set" of the military, on top of several huge platforms that need to be addressed such as the KC-135 tanker fleet, which on average is 45...

Obama: $1 trillion deficits 'for years'

Ding! Ding! Ding! Bingo. Unfortunately, not many here on ET have any understanding of the US being the Titanic right now. Remember all of those threads bashing "Helicopter Ben" in early 2008, and how we should be raising rates in order to defend the dollar? Idiots.

Looks like a market break out brewing

50% retracement of the move up off of 857 SPX, thus far. (900-901) Could very well see some support ( and short-covering ) at this level. 61.8% will target 890.

Coming up on the 50% retracement of 857 - 844 around the 900-901 area. 61.8% comes thru around 890 SPX

Don't get used to cheap oil, analysts say.......

Yes, you are correct. They did in fact make a payout based on the swap investments that they had replicating the index. And the dividend was totally reflected in the DROP of the index on December 23rd, when the DUG opened at $28.31 from a previous close of $34.67

6 monitors, different video cards, having PROBLEMS!

My guess is that your Nvidia graphics card that is a x16 PCI-Express slot card has a conflict any time that you try to run your Xentera cards in your PCI slots. It might be motherboard related. I came across the same kind of conflict when using a Dell Vostro computer in which I could not use...
