Actually, if you did some research instead of the typical ET "cut and paste" BS that is so prevalent . . . you'd know that the number was actually -9.2% when you take into consideration the lack of import demand.

SPX seems kind of "stuck" here but trust me when I tell you that the OIH has been surging along with the Coal sector. Great long-side trading! :cool:

Coal and energy names are rallying here and adding a bid in the market. OIH goes positive, and so does the KOL. Crude: -1.02 at 44.20

That "spike" back up to 748.61 SPX was essentially 66% of the first (a) leg up off this morning's low. Are we now done with this "corrective" bounce, or do we still head a little higher first?

Wow, I thought we were about to roll-over to new lows and we just spiked the SPY up through resistance at 75.16-75.17 That "popped" some shorts, for sure! :eek:

I would tend to disagree with this. I know of many successful traders that SPECIALIZE and FOCUS on a single group, such as oil service, or coal, or integrated oil, or banks, etc. In this day and age of information "overload", I think that it's a good idea to FOCUS on a select group (or two)...
