I actually suspect they're making changes aimed at giving you that flexibility ... but somehow those changes screwed us up today. Actually given how it went wrong I suspect its a backup strategy so that they auto-switch you if the initial server farm fails . IB ... what's the story?

No, the csr did get past the dumb customer bit fairly quickly. The incredibly bizarre thing is that the log for TWS really does show me logged onto the US server (.com not .com.hk) Now I'm pleased to say it shows me connected to the US SERVER AGAIN .... Arrghhhh ... No IT DOESNT!!!! RB...

According to CS my TWS was logged into the US server ... not sure how that could happen. So I was asked to do a clean out and reinstall. Hopefully that will clear me. Funny that you should experience random problems on the same day that my installation was wrong. Coincidence is a wonderful...

Have a look at the nikkei too then. It has less tendency to trend (normally, not in the last few weeks). The other thing to watch is that the stock market closed at 15:30 my time ... and futures goes for another 20 minutes so you got caught in the post market playground.

lol rft ... I would beware of the trendiness of this little devil. Regarding my colours ... its just Sierra Chart and I have colours for ma slope and position within last x bar range. All available with sc. I am a microswing trader ... I trade pullbacks and exit on targets.

lol ... not knowing why you did what you did I can't tell. But if you treat it as a reasonably trendy stock index future then I'm sure you'll do well. It does seem to do all the things that one might expect wrt S&R.
