    Cleaner Barr hard at work

Technically no. You are referring to Count Six. Making false statements to a financial institution in conjunction with a credit application. Google is a marvelous resource, by the way.

    Cleaner Barr hard at work

2020 will be the year when it will be decided whether the U.S. prefers the stability of a corrupt, authoritarian police state or the chaos of democracy. This will be determined in the next four months. If the election results don't favor him, Trump will challenge the results of course. He is...

    Cleaner Barr hard at work

actually i think the counts were election law violation, bank and tax fraud. Basically the same counts Trump will be indicted on after he leaves office. Although there is likely going to be an additional charge of money laundering.

The Republican Look Is Easier Defined Than Jazz

Duke Ellington famously said, when asked what jazz was, I don't know how to define it, but I know it when I hear it. Not so the male "Republican Look". It's that boring look you recognize instantly when you see it, and its incredibly easy to define.

2020 Election is Over----Dems just don't realize it yet.

This morning I listened to the Fox News', Chris Wallace's interview of Trump. Trump said he took an Alzheimer's test. He said he passed it even though it was a very hard test. He got a perfect score, of course. (probably a "tremendous" score.) Trump said, Biden couldn't pass it, said, if Biden...

Trump looking to overrule SCOTUS decision

That won't happen. That's Trump groupie talk. The only legislation that has a chance to get through is reasonable legislation. If you believe what a Jackass says you'll start sounding like a Jackass. Like "The wall just got ten feet higher and Mexico is going to pay for it!" or "I told my people...

Trump looking to overrule SCOTUS decision

Again we are talking 10-20 years ago. Those people need to be protected because the time to act is long past.

Trump looking to overrule SCOTUS decision

The time to draw the line is now! It has not expired. But we most have rules that are reasonable , otherwise they won't be enforceable. I don't know of anyone who favors "open borders," in a literal sense. There is bound to be one or two nuts that I haven't met yet, of course. "Open Borders"...

    Cost of Government

This reflects the typical citizens understanding of government finances based on their own personal finances. Can't blame them for thinking this way. But of course since government is the source of money, the governments finances are very different from our personal finances.

Trump looking to overrule SCOTUS decision

OK, so the answer is "now." Good. that's reasonable. We can not, and are not, going to deport people who came here as children, have grown up here, and know no other country than this one. Nor are their parents going to be kicked out. The time to do that has long expired.

In the Coronavirus Fight in Scandinavia, Sweden Stands Apart

But that would require some kind of national coordination and therefore a different President. I think we are stuck with the Jackass we've got until next January, so expect more chaos.

If markets were random why then does volatiliy spike at certains of the day (illustration inside)

I think when someone states markets are random they don't know what that means, and no one else does either.

OK fine. Do you want to start that policy now, or 25 years ago?

If a herd is required, Republicans will be immune long before Democrats. I imagine you're pretty happy about that.

In the Coronavirus Fight in Scandinavia, Sweden Stands Apart

It's good to hear from the "let's at least fill up the hospitals first wing" of the Republican Party. There is certain charm to this line of reasoning, because if you're dead, you won't care.
