actually i think the counts were election law violation, bank and tax fraud. Basically the same counts Trump will be indicted on after he leaves office. Although there is likely going to be an additional charge of money laundering.

The time to draw the line is now! It has not expired. But we most have rules that are reasonable , otherwise they won't be enforceable. I don't know of anyone who favors "open borders," in a literal sense. There is bound to be one or two nuts that I haven't met yet, of course. "Open Borders"...

This reflects the typical citizens understanding of government finances based on their own personal finances. Can't blame them for thinking this way. But of course since government is the source of money, the governments finances are very different from our personal finances.

OK, so the answer is "now." Good. that's reasonable. We can not, and are not, going to deport people who came here as children, have grown up here, and know no other country than this one. Nor are their parents going to be kicked out. The time to do that has long expired.
