Because he is short the market. :) Or at least synthetically short. He may not know what that means.

The avg income is actually 5k a year for all members. That's right, 5k a year. In order to get a mean that low you have to include the failures, and that was my point. A lot of the data that the media likes to showcase out there only includes the winners while they compare that to the...

THE Super Ultra Wealthy Man can see the future, he sees horror ahead

Wealthy people have convexity, the poor don't. With low interest rates capital and wealth grows at an exponential rate. This benefits those who are long assets. The wealth inequality is not caused by wages but by wealth. The poor don't benefit from asset inflation, in fact they suffer...

If it's keeping him up at night then the central banks should take rates up to 10%. Problem solved.

The problem with believing in "all" the conspiracies is that they cancel each other out. LOL. You have to pick a few and go with them. :)

Life is too short to be this angry. Get a dog. Get a girlfriend. Read a good book (not Fed related). Seriously, you remind me of that spoiled rich kid in Santa Barbara who shot those students because women didn't like him. You sound exactly like him except replace women with the Fed...

Ucan'tEatBonds, see this is what disappoints me. I think on some granular level buried deep down at the molecular level, you and I probably agree on some things. I'm a libertarian and I like to pride myself on being an independent thinker. But when I hear that crap you posted, I kind of...

Every billionaire has his 15 minutes. When I was growing up, it was Ross Perot. All billionaires have an ideology. Ideologies by their definition are neither right nor wrong, just opinions.

Exactly. The "lottery paradox" is a perfect example.

No dude, you just spit out conspiracy stuff without ever MAKING an argument. Regarding your billionaire idol, every ideology has a billionaire idol. The left has Soros, the neo-cons have Kovner, the right has the Koch brothers, the libertarians have Peter Thiel. So the whole...

THE Super Ultra Wealthy Man can see the future, he sees horror ahead

I've probably stated on ET over 500 times that if it were possible to abolish the FED, I would. The problem is you have an "ideology" which is fine but when you try to back it up, you confuse the facts. Income inequality in this country comes from many different factors, way too many to...

THE Super Ultra Wealthy Man can see the future, he sees horror ahead

Dude, if you were literate you would know I've been one of the biggest FED critics on ET. But when you post crap I have to call you out on it. My character requires that.

Actually, CEO salary is the biggest red herring. When that stat is thrown out they only measure the winners (survivorship bias). What about the thousands of CEO's that make NOTHING. ZERO. Zilch. NADA. In fact, what about the CEO's that went into debt, lost everything, are broke...

THE Super Ultra Wealthy Man can see the future, he sees horror ahead

+1 There actually is a serious problem in this country and it's the fact that we have to keep importing labor. And I don't mean from Mexico. We have some so many jobs that require "math" and "analytical" skills and very few people to fill them. If you think about it, the middle class 50...

Newbie in futures here: What happened to Cotton the 20/06/2014?

I wasn't chiding him. I was chiding the responders who gave absurd responses.

Newbie in futures here: What happened to Cotton the 20/06/2014?

It's very simple. We rolled off the July to the Dec contract. July is in delivery now and is still trading at 80 to 81. Dec is around 74. The answer to this question could have been solved through deduction by observing the cotton ETF (BAL) which had no such drop.
