The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?

I think your analysis above would be probably quite correct. However price actions can mean all kind of things by different definitions and people. Basically every system (and even every indicator) is based on price actions, therefore How to deal with price actions in the trading system...

JD(Hypo), you specified only two edges above. Where is the third one? :D

The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?

Quite sure and certain that a technical solution would be operating a fund on top of your daily trading activities that would be a possible way to reduce fear of (perhaps gradually) losing efficiency (i.e. not earning as much as before due to whatever causes). "Strategy Focus: Managed Forex...

The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?

That alone would be the final and complete answer! The fear is probably due to worrying edges becoming inefficient before achieving the goal!

    How about a country-specific forums?

I think ET should launch some country-specific forums, beyond the US. Therefore people in a particular country can talk about some topics related to such as tax, compliance, HF set-up, marketing, etc. and their relevant service providers. Just a thought!

Additionally, would it be possible to outsource almost everything, except trading the system, to some external service providers?

The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?

The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?

Are you saying that the traders based on purely price actions would have no fears at all? Hence they are able to use the maximum possible/ allowable leverage available to them. Otherwise, fear would be still there, knowingly or unknowingly, imo.

I think I understand the differences between "markets" and "market conditions".

The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?

My conclusion is No fear, No gain! Without any fear, we would take much higher risk. That's why we do need diversification (in order to reduce the degree of fear)!

The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?

That would be very nice! However, how do I know I finally got a True edge before I really have one (or proving otherwise)!? Or perhaps: No fear, No gain!

The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?

Good thinking again. Perhaps my fear has been worrying others to take $$$ away from me who has been never sure his highly adaptable system will be still adaptable enough one day in the future! LOL. :D I agree that diversification is the key, always!

The fear of trading edge becoming inefficient?
