Dumbest thing you ever did in trading

I was on the Amex then. Can you Private Message me the broker you used? I ran institutional option orders as a phone clerk, then floor broker from 1982 until late 1984. Started as a MM in 1985. I did not do much with equites. I’m curious if I know the broker.

US pharmacy giant offers up a big warning on the US consumer

My courses in Macro and Microeconomics in 1978 make me far from an expert on economics. To be honest, for most short-term traders, I think it is a distraction. I've said in the past, that I was a professional Market Maker for 25 years in the past. I learned a number of lessons. One of them was...

This is over 5 years. If you were bearish, you needed good timing and a quick exit.

US pharmacy giant offers up a big warning on the US consumer

I have been on Elite Trader since around 2011. Not always as a sponsor so under other names. I find it interesting the consistent negative view on the market. Always looking to be short and make a killing on a single down event. I have no real opinion before the election, but the tone is often...

Nice that it is covered by them, but I hope you choose them for more than to save $13/month.

Ironbeam Free Level 2 Data Controversy

CME offers Level 1 and Level 2 data for a fee. Ironbeam, according to your post, is eating the cost. That does not mean other FCMS need to. CQG charges $13/CME exchange for non-pro with no bundle. https://www.cqg.com/partners/exchanges/market-data-fees.

    Working at Lightspeed-Client Service Representative

I have no idea if the 4 year degree is a 100% must. It is not up to me. Honestly, we could use someone conversational in Mandarin.

I do not know the salary levels. And, if you have "actual trading experience and licenses and a degree" and never made a living from trading .................This works.

    Working at Lightspeed-Client Service Representative

In 2016, I was 56 years old. Very few firms want to hire a 56 year old. I wanted to work and needed insurance. IB was not at the top of my list, but they are always hiring. I live 20 min from Greenwich.
