Down to about $90k, where would you park it if your trading skills were trash?

Most of us here don't need help with management. We have no employees... LOL. I wouldn't even use a psychology coach if they didn't have experience in the markets and were at least somewhat profitable. Let me ask you this. Would you ask a virgin gynecologist how to pleasure a woman? Sure...

I love the transparency of this market....

People do say that this is a worry, but spot bitcoin is what all prices should be set from, and spot bitcoin can be easily delivered and verified. Its not like most people take delivery of their gold. So its much easier to verify if the parties actually have what they say they have.

If I get paid in USD, and hence I exert energy to work all day and make $100, I am converting my labour for something that will hopefully have value. Then when the government just prints it, they devalue my labour at their discretion. The fact that bitcoin can't be printed and has a fixed...

    Bidenomics, baby!

Isn't Biden completely disregarding the ruling by the courts on student loan forgiveness? How about the entire border crisis?

I love the transparency of this market....

Agreed... but the reason why its good is because it means that the true price of bitcoin cannot be suppressed, unlike gold for example, or pumped to the moon for artificial reasons, like real estate.

The coolest feature for ET to have would be a verified checkmark. You would give @Baron permission to log into your trading account and based on account size and 6 month performance, you get a colored checkmark based on certain metrics. If anyone makes $250k per year or more from their...

    Is the crypto winter over?

Jesus, you're as delusional about this as you are with bitcoin. My dad bought his townhouse in 1999 for $172k on an hourly wage of maybe around $27. Rates were around 6% and kept dropping in his favor after this. Today, my wage is $29 and townhouses in my city are around $900k. You do the...

I love the transparency of this market....

Remember when Zuckerberg tried to create his own Twitter? It even had a great launch for the first few days, but then fell off a cliff. So the adoption is the hardest part. Look at the hardforks that Bitcoin had in the past. They are all a fraction of the market cap of bitcoin. Some were...

I love the transparency of this market....

I think the price is rigged. Its deeply undervalued. There is no way you should be able to own a whole bitcoin for 40k when there are only ever going to be 21 million, for the entire world, and that number is much lower for various reasons. If I buy paper gold, I understand why its so easy to...

    Is the crypto winter over?

This is all one big game of musical chairs. We all clearly see there aren't enough chairs, but the music hasn't stopped yet. I agree with you, but if you know today that you will never retire, then why on earth even work towards something. And if you don't work towards something, then your...

    Is the crypto winter over?

I honestly hate this argument. People today work 2 jobs, not to pay off their house that was 2 times their yearly income, but to pay for rent on a property that they don't own and to put food on the table. The old generation was expected to leave the house at 18 because they could. Today...

    Bidenomics, baby!

As a guy being in the top 1%, do you agree with this video? I was kind of shocked to read that you think Biden is a good president, but after seeing the results of the poll explained in this video, that I guess I understand why you would think Biden works well... for you!

    Is the crypto winter over?

Yes, initially I read inflation got even worse. Lots of government workers will lose jobs, and it will take a while to reach a new equilibrium. Its no different than the transition that is necessary in RE. If prices don't come down, an entire generation is left out, and all of us angry...

    Is the crypto winter over?

Thanks! My entire networth is less than 100k, so its not a huge amount, which makes it easier. But what can I really do with that anyway? Grow is at 10% in the markets and hope there isn't another 50% crash? I can't even afford property where I live, even if it was enough for a down payment...

    Is the crypto winter over?

I'm the same way! LOL.... But honestly, the way Jamie Dimon and Elizabeth Warren are fighting so hard means that they are very scared they will lose. Because the middle class has been wiped out, the government has actually lost support. All they can do now is import illegal immigrants and hope...

Its ok not to believe. If this goes to where many of us think its going, then you will be naturally swept up into hyper bitcoinization anyway.

    Is the crypto winter over?

I do think that there is a slight chance that something will replace bitcoin, but only if it proves to be vastly better in some way. There is too much game theory with bitcoin and its just much too late to catch up given the immense amount of computing power going into bitcoin. If I ever saw...

Tisk tisk... I thought you were serious! Did you ever get the link with further helpful hints?

    Is the crypto winter over?

Sure, there is a possibility that some cataclysmic event implodes bitcoin, but its a 100% certainty that USD will continue to weaken and cause even more pain and suffering. The fear shouldn't be that you're right about bitcoin, it should be that you are wrong about bitcoin. If everyone in the...

I truly believe that we are on the cusp of one of the biggest transformations in history. We have all learned now that the reason for this dip is the GBTC selling, and its all right there for everyone to see. I thought I read somewhere that the inflows to the other ETFs have been even bigger...
