At 30 now, so if Romney can make it through the debates without losing ground, I would think he could go to 40 or so, which makes sense.

I have to say that I too am questioning these damn polls. I posted in another thread, maybe Wisconsin, Obama up by 14 points? In what universe? And intrade at 40 points? Hell I'm about ready to bet on Romney, this is crazy.

Nutters or not, this poll has to be wrong, just too damn much. Don't get me wrong, everyone knows I support Obama, but this is like Intrade being ahead by 35 points or whatever. Just doesn't seem right.

SS is simply a paid into retirement plan, and people, as you say, are entitled to the money when they retire. The other programs are aid, and should be noted as such, as I think you're trying to say here. A retirement program, forced or not, is still your money. The aid is money from taxpayers...

I support Israels right to exist, as if they need my support, but this type of thing can be just as troublesome as the the rhetoric from the other side. We'll never be able to settle any of these wars of God, or tribal wars, no matter how much money or lives we spend on it, IMO.

I think that by 2016, the GOP will be able to purge much of the teaparty, or those elected as teaparty candidates will mellow to the point of compromise. In a way it's too bad for some to lose their way in Washington.
