    ES Journal - 2021/2022

Later this afternoon (last 30 minutes or so RTH session) don't forgot window dressing for end of quarter funds. Could be erratic or I should say more erratic than typical.

Meanwhile on 5 minute $DXY chart a TD Sell Sequential completed right before RTH open. Friggin ICE charges ridiculous amount for their data so I get delayed - which is by 30 minutes! :wtf: Or I would have mentioned earlier.

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

Just noticed $DXY daily chart a few days ago was at TD Sell Sequential bar# 11 so a top, even if only a short term one, might be close. While weekly chart is also at bar# 11 so longer term top might be a month or so away - EOY possibly.

    ES Journal - 2021/2022

As everyone knows "markets hate uncertainty" which currently obviously includes bear market + interest rates + Russia/Ukraine so likely there would be much buying going into the weekend. Of course I could be completely off-base.

If only ... it was so simple. Everyone whoever lost an account would do it the next time around. Or how about anyone new to trading hearing about it, they would win right from the start. o_O

I thought that is what you meant a "wise guy". But if you seriously mean just reverse engineer a loser into a winner, I've heard it simplistically mention often enough but no evidence that I know whatsoever to support it.

    Fibs don't work

To clarify further - again. 61.8% is not a fib number, it is a fib ratio. 0,1,1,2,3,5,8 are fib numbers And disagree that 50% is a not fib ratio, for anyone who uses 23.6%, 38.2%, 78.6%, 261.8%, 423.6% and a few others. They are all derived (including 50%) by dividing, multiplying or...

I see nothing bullish about the above. Especially 1 & 2 Do you believe the shooting of the generals is done? And Bears don't have to crush markets every single trading day during a downtrend.

True, a wise guy. Not a guy who is wise.

Only the naive and gullible will actually give this consideration. A "winning formula" for success.

    news around 3:30 ?

If it means anything China in their Friday open started off green, but I'll be watching who blinks first before the weekend in the currency and bond markets.

    $SILVER bottoming

Bullish? Spot Gold has 6 monthly red candles in a row and Spot Silver 4 out of the last 6!! Though looks like $18 is long term support. IMO more likely it is rangebound for awhile till economy gets back on track after FED stops QT. A year, two or three.

Wave 4's are often erratic, confusing and most of all overlapping.

Why the heck is even GOLD going down?!

Like I said, depends on where you start from. What really matters is where someone adds, reduces or removes an asset in their portfolio. Because theoretical debates like this can go on an on as long as gold and other assets exist.

    Fibs don't work

So many questions. I have just one for you - what do you use to trade with, if anything?

    Fibs don't work

Fib Arcs (MNQ overnight in this instance). As I have said before only those who don't know how to use them properly will find them random and ineffectual. Not as simple as click fib toolbar icon and two spots on a chart:-

Why the heck is even GOLD going down?!

Maybe AUDUSD is correlated with ASX but not with $SPX. Correlation indicator on bottom of chart has readings ranging between -0.08 to +0.17. Also ZigZag shows some similar swings and some not. Overall most world indices do move together in a prevailing direction, but individual economies are at...

    news around 3:30 ?

$TNX weekly bar (of course there is still tomorrow) appears to indicate more pullback in 10 yr yield. So there is that.

    news around 3:30 ?

Four other 5 minute bars earlier today (plus 1 @ 3:00am Eurozone open) that had larger ranges. See ATR on bottom set to 1. Think the only one that was news-related was @ 8:30am.
