TY mate! Decision was based on nothing more than a possibility of a DT on 15m chart, as I said earlier today I would be waiting for a second pass to short current HOD to be. But trade ain't over until it's closed. It was a great entry though.

    Multiple time frames....bad for me?

Is it so hard to understand that what is relative to you is not necessarily so to another person? Somebody might enter this conversation & tell us that we don't need a chart to trade "unless we believe that it does". Are you going to accept his opinion as THE right way if it's non relative to...

Adjusting your stop based on volatility

In Pabst's example if I was to chase a market, which I don't like doing, if I had to increase stop x2, then I would reduce size to 50%. You might still be wrong, so controlling risk according to what you can afford to lose per trade is more important than gain. My 2c.

    Multiple time frames....bad for me?

It all boils down to choice, which no matter what or how you do it will sometimes be not the right one. If a person is short off a LH & a LL and later, once position is in the black, sees a HH & a HL, then does he: 1. reverse trade? 2. cover short? 3. ignore & carry on with a trailed...

    Multiple time frames....bad for me?

Hi ST, Firstly, which conclusion have you rejected? Secondly, if you were to teach me how to trade price only & providing results are better than what I currently manage to get, then I will gladly join your camp. In the mean time what I do I have somehow managed to teach myself, it's not...

    Multiple time frames....bad for me?

Everything is relative to what a person can or can't do. Some people can derive logic from price only others can't, so some that can't will claim that making trade decisions based on naked price oscillations is a practical impossibility. On the other hand you will have another camp that will...

I choose not to average down, in fact I am totally against it in principle. I would rather get stopped & enter higher when another signal presents itself. But to each his own. GL!
