SEC to Introduce New Capital Market Rules

It is the old wall street crowd i.e. market makers trying to gain back their advantages that they lost to the pay for order flow group. For decades the market makers ripped off the public with their franchises by buying on the bid and selling on the ask. Zero commissions +price improvements...

I can't get the parts to fix my car.

China acts in its own interest. You have expanded your remark from hurting the US to hurting the West while not offering one iota of proof. If they are acting tit for tat with the US for harming Chinese interest that's life. I will repeat my previous post China can export to whomever they want...

I can't get the parts to fix my car.

Nobody forces you to buy. Years ago when I was not familiar with marketing practices I bought a defective product made in China. I replaced it with the same product at 3X the price from Taiwan. Become an informed consumer.

Debt-to-GDP: Why can't it raise to infinitum?

It did not rise to infinitum in Japan. Use of the word infinitum debt to GDP is part of Modern Market Theory (MMT) espoused by wokes and progressives out to destroy or remake the US. We will end up much poorer.

I can't get the parts to fix my car.

Many ET comments are oxymorons plus thanks is always in short supply. Is that product part of the list of growing shortages in the US?

I can't get the parts to fix my car.

China can export to whomever they want. It would not surprise me if Germany and rich Arab countries can obtain all the parts they want.

Every professional trader said market had changed dramatically over the years

Nonsense. Either algos cancel each other out or they exaggerate the moves. The human is left to figure it out.

Every professional trader said market had changed dramatically over the years

Where is the disagreement? Buy and hold still creates the best outcome.

Every professional trader said market had changed dramatically over the years

Nothing beats buy and hold over long periods if it is in a taxable account. Traders will protest, but exceptions don't change the reality.

    Can the U.S. declare bankruptcy?

For the last time, China does NOT owe the majority of US' debt (I think I am going to copy this sentence permanently in a notepad. I lost count of how many times I had to post this sentence in this forum). It's the US citizens who do so you will be just fucking the American people by declaring...

    Can the U.S. declare bankruptcy?

Will the US humble itself the same way Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela have done over the years by declaring a moratorium on foreign debt? Your guess is almost as good as the opinion of a taxi cab driver.:)
