Republican Special Prosecutor Ken Starr: Presidents Can Be Indicted

Geez, what would be more in line with current DOJ policy - a 1998 memo authored by contractor Ken Starr or a circa 2000 Department of Justice Policy opinion published by the DOJ Office of Legal Counsel? Hint: when Mueller took on the job he agreed to follow all DOJ policies and procedures...

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

I might actually agree with you on this point as well. Obama abusing the FISA warrant program for nefarious political purposes, Obama weaponizing the DOJ/FBI through "Operation Crossfire" in order to spy on private citizens undertaking a political campaign, DOJ/FBI leadership selectively...

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 4, 2017 Trump: I was "wire tapped" CNN: Haha. That idiot @realDonaldTrump thinks he was wiretapped. ..Six months...

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

Inspector General Horowitz's report on the Department of Justice is about to be released. NYT and WSJ are leaking some tidbits that are not at all flattering to the narrative of a straight shooting, apolitical, impartial DOJ/FBI. Turns out that the DOJ/FBI leadership are very much political...

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

The DNC helped her out a great deal (understatement of the year) with her primary opponent but that's water under the dam.

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

Ask yourself - if Clinton had bothered campaigning in Wisconsin, Ohio, and Pennsylvania (instead of in the States where she really didn't need the votes - safely Democratic) in the month prior to the election would Trump be President ? I say very doubtful.

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

It is bullshit - I wanted Bernie Sanders to win his campaign fair and square but he did not. Didn't Hillary and the DNC run automated social media bot accounts ? As I recall, they had multiple consulting firms doing it for them as well.

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

Bullshit. Did the Russians keep Hillary out of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania in the month leading up to the election ? Did the Russians tell Hillary not to make one single stop at Wisconsin during the entirety of the general election ? Did the Russians hack into Hillary's mind and...

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

Speaking of collusion, I like how how the DNC is suing the Trump campaign for collusion. Oh was Wikileaks ever a fountain of stank on the DNC. The DNC was one giant collusion factory - just ask Bernie supporters.

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

I cede the principle thesis of your point about Trump not being the nexus of the investigation. We do know something about what Mueller has to date - we have indictments on a lobbyist and a Russian Troll Farm. The President has not been named or referenced in either.

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

One notable point: it took Archibald Cox nine months to get from his appointment to naming Nixon as unindicted co-conspirator. And he had actual evidence.

Mueller admits: Can’t Indict a Sitting President

As I recall, the last “statement” from Mueller about Trump was in March when he told Trump’s lawyers that the President was not a “target” in his investigation (whatever that means literally or figuratively).
