    Distinguishing between retracements & reversals

    That's easy. Assume everything is only a retracement of the prior move. Then if the move continues (this is REALLY where tech analysis is most useful because you can use all kinds of indicators to begin questioning your trade) and your account takes a beating, well, then its a reversal. :D

    I used to think these ETF "pioneers" were offering some super products but have come to realize they're only milking everybody on the spreads. If there's no NYMEX, believe me, there's NO GOLD, OIL ETF's, etc., because where are these ETF MM going to lay off their risk?

    Tried that option, but unfortunately the b/a spread in some of the stuff I trade widened considerably, so I'll have to put up with it.:p Its one of those tradeoffs.
