All prop firms should be required by the SEC to document the trailing performance of all traders accounts. And this document should be made available to all "newbies." i.e. Failure rate, amount profitable (per trader), accounts traded to zero... This document should be in a prospectus...

Which firm(s) offer $500 margin, low fees and a platform other than j_trader? I am looking for a system that will allow me to enter and change my stop orders. Possibly with the use of user-defined (hot)function keys. For example - Assign to F5 - buy stop 5 contracts @ offer +5 pts.

GLOBEX allows for stop orders. And the orders sent by J_trader designated STOP sit on GLOBEX servers. SO far, I inquired with GHCO and they replied with the above. I have always heard triggered STOP orders become market orders. ARE you absolutely positive?

Specialists are exploiting their advantage at max pain for traders. Find the primary trend and use stops.

Let's get some facts about the top traders at ProTrader... None of them EVER made more than a few million a year. And that was during the go go years. And Andy lost several million during a market short squeeze on the day of the first surprise rate cut. ...just plain Ugly now.

The specialist is picking my pocket too. Consistently getting squeezed on thin stocks for .25 or more on 400-600 share positions. I will need to refocus entirely if I am to stay in the game for 2003. If the market continues to be like December, I will give up trading.
