    Roth IRA Contribution

I think I can get away with contributing money to the Traditional IRA account. I might have overcontributed to the Roth IRA account. on the form 1040, one puts capital gain on the line 7, and summed together with other incomes. I think it's considered as one of the earned incomes.

Looking for Long term trading ideas

something like short-term MA crossing over long-term MA. This type of strategy could require long term commitment because sometime index has gone for months, and you don't gain much. Plus, volatility could be a bitch. you'd have to get out to cut loss, and then put the trade back on.

Why the market will go up

the CPI report showed inflation is still rising (0.40%), but a little lesser than expected. it means the FED's job is not done yet, and we've seen +800 points pop before. we're not out of the woods yet. bond market is telling we're going to have recession, probably, next summer at this rate.
